Day 1 – Arrival Mombasa airport – Tsavo East National Park
Met by our representative and after a short briefing depart and drive to Tsavo East National park. After lunch at your camp proceed for an afternoon game drive. Tsavo East & West combined form the world’s largest game park. Tsavo is a vast landscape of open savannah, bush woodland and volcanic outcrops, escarpments and hills, where wildlife abounds. Major point of interest is the crystal clear Mzima Springs; here hippo, crocodile & fresh water fish can be viewed from an underwater viewing base. Major attraction in Tsavo East includes the Yatta Plateau - world’s largest lava flow, with magnificent views of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Aruba Dam and its surroundings. Day 2 – Tsavo East – Via Taveta/Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
After an early breakfast at your camp, check out and depart for Taveta border where you will clear customs and continue to Arusha arriving in time for lunch. After lunch proceed to Lake Manyara national park an unexpected Oasis of Tropical ground forest, nestled deep at the foot of the western escarpment that looms over the Great African Rift Valley from the Red Sea to Mozambique. The eponymous lake is a shallow alkaline lake, one of the many that bejewel the Rift Valley supporting vast flocks of flamingo that daub pink swathes across the African Horizon at sunset. The think clumps of rainforest that border the lake harbor an exotic kaleidoscope of birds and monkeys, the dense canopy alive with the chatter and squawks of the tropical menagerie. Day 3 – Ngorongoro conservation Area
After breakfast you depart and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, the Earth’s largest unbroken caldera. A veritable “Garden of Eden”, the Crater is reputed to contain the highest density of carnivores, which includes Cheetah, Leopard and Lion. This is the only place in East Africa where one can easily observe a natural population of Black Rhino. Descend down to the crater floor for a crater tour. Ngorongoro crater is perhaps the finest and without doubt the most impressive, wildlife destination on the planet. A perfectly formed sunken volcano that hosts as wide a cross section of wildlife as is found of the continent of Africa including the rare and endangered Black Rhino. A game drive around the perfect natural amphitheatre, bounded by 2000 ft sheer walls, allows a rare intimacy with the resident wildlife that roam the definitive range of eco systems. You will have your picnic lunches in one of the designated sites. Return at sunset for dinner and overnight at Great Rift Valley Photographic Lodge (BLD)
Day 4 – Ngorongoro – Via Arusha – Amboseli National Park
Drive back to Arusha arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, proceed to Namanga border where you will clear customs and enter Kenya to Amboseli National Park. Situated under the grand mass of snow-crowned Mt. Kilimanjaro, Amboseli is a striking contrast of snaking lush green marshlands and dusty grey plains. Amboseli in the Maasai language means “place of water”. The vast herds of Elephant & plains game are a major attraction in this biosphere reserve. With an evening game drive en route arrive for check in Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sentrim (BLD)
Day 5 – Amboseli – Mombasa- Depart
An early morning game drive permits further exploration of this great park. After a late breakfast and check out, drive to Mombasa, arriving in time for lunch (OWN ARRANGEMENTS). Check-in at hotel or dropped off at Moi International airport for your onward flight. End of Service
